If you're reading this, you're probably wondering the best first way to get ready for your vessel's first pumpout. We have a handy list of tips for your convenience and ease of service. MOBILE PUMP-OUT TIPS

Here are some helpful tips for a successful boat-to-boat pumpout service . . .

1. Please make sure to clear any items that might be blocking access to your deck fitting (kayaks, life-vests, rope, etc). and make sure your dock is clear of any trip hazards to help ensure our techs' safety!

2. If there is anything unusual about your holding tank (cap improperly labeled, located under a hatch, etc.) please EMAIL at least 24 hours before the service run.

3. To make sure we can empty your tank completely, please make sure that your vessel’s valves are correctly positioned and your vents are clear.

4. Our service techs cannot service tanks with seized caps. If your cap is not opened on a regular basis, please see DECK FITTINGS.

5. If your holding tank fitting is not accessible from the outside of the boat you will need to be present for the service. Service techs will not enter a boat without the owner or owner’s representative present.

6. If your vessel is new to you and you are unfamiliar with the sanitation system please EMAIL to schedule an appointment for your first service. During the time the tech will help you assess if your system is ready for service and answer any questions you might have.

7. If you suspect you have a clogged vent, please see CLEARING VENTS & CLOGS. Symptoms of clogged vents are lingering bad odor, leakage around tank fittings, hissing noises, bulging tank walls, liquid flowing back into the bowl and difficulty emptying the head.

8. Most common pumpout problems can be handled with regular service rotation and taking the precautions above. If you are have any questions about your pumpout service, please EMAIL and we will help you diagnosis the problem.

How do I know if I need a pump-out?

You should schedule your pump-out when your tanks are at most 75% full.
